Chainsaw Carving 2

I spent most of today carving up a poor innocent log into an Eagle. This is it above. It is the first one that stayed together. I had some help from my friend Dino Silva. That is him working on the head in the picture.

Originally I was going to put the feet at the bottom of the log. That was changed part way thru..It just did not look right. I messed up the chain on the saw, Kinked it or twisted it. Luckily for me Dino had a spare chain.

Now it look canted because the barrel it is sitting on is canted.I think I did pretty good, what do you think?

Gone Fishing

I have been Fishing everyday since the opening day of Trout Season here in Pa. I have not caught a single Fish! I had a beautiful Palomino trout not three feet away from me and could not catch him. My buddy's kid was right beside me and he almost caught it. He had it hooked but did not land him.
 So I am going out in the rain today to keep trying.
If anyone has a surefire trout lure they think I should try please comment here, email me, or just send me one! Thanks and keep on Smiling!

Door kicking ain't easy

I was there I learned much. However I was not good enough to continue at this time. I will go back and try again, if the PAARNG lets me.

Speaking of classes I am enrolled in a Solar Photovotaic Electric Systems class. what is that you say? That is to learn how to install Solar Panels. I will be taking a test that will get me certified. I hope to get a job doing Solar Panels. I like the renewable energy side of that and it is not in a factory. It may be high up on a house. I am not thrilled with that idea but I can do it.

To my facebook followers you know that I recently got new Mattresses for my bed and the spare bedroom too. That means Dear sis you have to stay at my place now. Plus I put a new looking handle on that door. Installed a brand new bathroom door just for you. We are getting sheets,blankets, and pillows for the bed. I may put a hardwood floor down too. depends on what kind of deal I get on flooring.

Now for the big news that is everywhere on the 'Net. Japan , earthquake, Tsunami and nuclear chaos. There is a few friends of ours there. Kasa, and Adam. Last I heard they are both safe, as of this writing/typing. I hope they get the Nuclear side of things taken care of fast. It is a disaster that I hope the US can handle half as well when it happens to us.

Not AGAIN!

I just got my Laptop back from the repair depot 2 weeks ago. what do I do? I dropped the darn thing. Which of course Broke the screen. I was talking to a friend who pointed me to a video on you tube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR7xbR882IM I called Toshiba to see if it was covered. As I talked to them I went searching for a replacement screen for my Laptop. They told me it was Not covered  for dropping. But if I sent them 400+ dollars, they would replace the screen. The GD Screen was only 55 unless I bought 2 then it was only 45! Needless to say I told them no thank you I can do it...I hoped. the screen came wed. I had it installed in 20 min. I was very happy.

 Now I was trying to log into my Hotmail account. It seems it was Hacked again! So now I must wait for the staff at MSN get around to fixing it and I do Another password change. this is really getting old HACKERS    

Now for the next bit of fun. I get to play doorkicker for the army after two more weeks of school. So I will not be online during the days.

Fzy and Jeeping dreams

So a good friend/soldier is selling me a nice Jeep Wrangler.

 It has a a few mech issues which I can tackle. However I was thinking why not upgrade it? I know, I know thinking will get me in trouble. I want to put a Turbocharger on it. I mean the kids do it to all the little sports cars. Why not a Jeep Wrangler?

Then there is upgrading the rear axle to a Ford 8.8 with disc brakes. then a SOA (spring over axle) lift.

However it all costs money. I am unemployed at this moment in time. So if anyone knows a star or has money. It may only be a dream.

Chainsaws Carving and searching

Well my first attempt at chainsaw carving was going well. then the chainsaw stopped working. I took it and the snow blower into the shop. The Snow blower was fixed easily.

The Chainsaw was unable to be repaired the cylinder and the piston were so scratched that they will not hold compression. So I had to get a new one. Why not repair the old one you say?  It would cost as much as a new one.  Now I am the owner of a Poulan pro,18 in, 35cc. chainsaw.

I return to my eagle and begin to work on it. I have the wings , head and tail feathers done. I am working on the body when my cell rings. I answer it. it is the better half asking how long I shall be. I am not sure. I hang up, start the chainsaw to begin working on the body. I  have not touched it when the wing on the other side  falls off!

Needless to say I was a tad upset. all that work gone. so now I am going to try again when the weather is a lil better.

 I really want a job. I do not like doing nothing. so I guess I will head to PACAREERLINK and see about a new job applying again.

the year started slow and down with the Knowledge that my factory was closing/moving to Tennessee. It was not with the employees consent. even though we are part owners in the Corp. we had no say. I had a brush with the Law that is unsettled at this time. I did serious damage to my marriage, that is slowly being repaired. Fall my job ended. November I saw my sister for the 3rd time in my life. That is the high point of the year. this new year I start out fighting a cold. Looking for a new BETTER JOB.

  To the people of Jackson Tenn. Be very watchful of ETS they will treat you like a number, not as an asset that you should be. I gave them my loyalty and they gave me nothing but a FYVM.
